Lenny is a club doll a wonderful large toddler baby.

Annette Himstedt's Barefoot Children Series in the early 1980's ushered in the trend of lifelike children which has so typified the doll market for the last 2 decades. She remains in the forefront of this industry constantly innovating and expanding her craft( most recently branching out to include a childrens play line of less expensive editions.) Expressive eyes,vibrant colors and ususual textures are all characteristics of the Himstedt doll. Produced in her native Germany all of the Himstedt creations achieve a realism that is striking and a look that only a Himstedt doll can create. Small Porcelain editions of 20 and under and vinyl editions of 277-713. This German doll artist and manufacturer has achieved more in the realm of doll making then any or her contemporaries.
